If you have never been to Nyíregyháza, the "capital" of north-eastern Hungary, you are in for a pleasant surprise.
While you're here, don't miss a visit to the largest regional open-air ethnographic museum in Hungary, the Sóstó Museum Village! Our museum is not a "slipper museum". Here, children can run around and play catch. Built in 1971, the Sóstó Museum Village is a real late 19th century village.
During a pleasant walk you can get an insight into the structure of a typical Szabolcs-Szatmár -Bereg county village.
For groups: museum education sessions, guided tours, thematic walks
