The first rural zoo in the country, it has 17 hectares of exhibits of around 900 species from 200 species on five continents. In addition to daily feedings, the zoo offers a rich programme of events throughout the year.
Located in the heart of the Great Forest, it also functions as a botanical garden, home to a total of 650 native and exotic plant species.
The zoo is now the only permanent amusement park in the country.
